The Crew

The face of our organisation

The Crew are the face of our organisation. They lead delivery of our workshops, directly interacting with young people and delivering our services to the community. They are our front-line workers, having a direct impact.

They are the social glue that holds our services together, making Pivot’s workshops about more than information or skill-building.

Volunteers join us for 6-12 months, delivering a workshop once a month. In addition to receiving facilitation training, volunteers take on sub-committee opportunities: graphic design, fundraising support, event management and much more.

The Special Projects Team

The “Black Ops” of our org

Our special projects team-members are the superstars behind the scenes and the driving force behind our organisational performance. With their can-do, ‘no challenge is impossible’ attitudes, our special projects volunteers are our chief problem solvers and innovators.

They steer our research, curriculum design, fundraising, strategic planning, and much more. They are the future leaders of non-profits, partners of firms, and government execs.

Volunteers work on 6-8 week projects on small teams. Once a project is complete, volunteers decide whether they will continue on and strive towards Executive roles or whether they will focus on other opportunities within (or outside) the organisation.
