What We Do & Why We Do It

Making informed choice possible.

A pivot point between a complex legal system and the young people that can come into contact with it.

We believe young people shouldn’t become victims of crime or commit crime themselves simply because they didn’t understand the law or have the skills to navigate a legal situation safely. Instead, they should have the knowledge, skills and confidence to identify and deal with legal issues.

But the law is complex and the skills aren’t always intuitive. That’s where we come in. We help young people understand the law and develop critical skills like negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision making. We do that by running legal education workshops designed specifically for young people.

Supporting all young people

We work with all young people. Whatever their background, circumstance or need, they deserve access to quality legal education.

So we work with schools, councils, non-profits, sports clubs, businesses — any organisation working with young people.

That said, we’re particularly committed to supporting young people experiencing disadvantage or facing challenging circumstances.

How it works

You design it. We build & deliver it.

Most legal education is standardised: ‘here are some common issues’ or ‘these are all top ten worst criminal offenses”.

But young people aren’t all the same. They have unique needs and interests and have experienced different things.

That’s why our program is fully customisable.
